Hi Kristy,
I had just done a google search about babies being scared of rubber ducks and came across your blog about your daughter a couple of years ago having the same fear. It was nice to see that someone else’s child also thinks that rubber duckie is evil. My 10 month old reacts exactly as you described it except my son wouldn’t even let the duck come near him to begin with.
I just thought I’d send an email and ask whether she finally got over the duck phobia, how long did it take? and did you do anything to help her get over it?

By the way, we start swimming lessons tomorrow. I hope they don’t bring out rubber ducks.
